Location
The Liszt Ferenc International Airport Budapest is 30 minutes' drive away from the apartment.
The 100E Airport express Bus is available from just outside Terminal 2B. The bus leaves every half hour and costs 2,200 Forints payable in local currency only. The bus will deliver you to Deak Ference Square which is only a couple of hundred yards from the apartment.
There is limited free on-street parking near the Apartment. There is also paid undercover parking at the Mercure Budapest City Center Hotel near the Apartment.
If you arrive by train, you will most likely arrive to Keleti pu. (Eastern Railway Station). The station is about 30 minutes by foot or 10 minutes' drive away from the apartment. You can also get to the apartment using the underground. Take the red line (Metro 2) from Keleti pu towards Déli pu until Deák Ferenc Tér (Deak Square). When you get out of the train look for the exit that says ‘Kijarat Utca’. This will take you to the next level where you take Exit D which says 'Karoly Korut'. This will take you up to street level. Our apartment building is only a short 3 minutes walk from the station.
It is a 20 minutes' walk from the Arrival Quay to the apartment or a 10 minutes' taxi ride, however this will depend on your berthing location.
Taxis are readily available in Budapest. They are a relatively cheap and reliable means of transport. It is always best to agree on the price beforehand. For transport to and from the airport the taxi could cost around 8,000 forints.
